BAE recognised a tight deadline to deliver a multi-workstream programme with limited internal resource.
Coex engaged with a UK-wide cybersecurity provider to deliver a portfolio of work across 10 work streams using a mix of 26 technology and business consultants. The engagement was spread across two functions and included a cloud migration, a security audit, a target architecture build, SharePoint migration/decommission and an MS Teams implementation.

We provided the client with a detailed architecture and roadmap that addressed their existing big data strategy, considering both functional and non-functional requirements, whilst ensuring it could handle a huge increase in volume and scale. We worked closely with the current team to ensure they understood the architecture and best practices in the areas of Big Data & Apache Spark to a sufficient detail to be able to continue with the architecture build out in 2019/2020. This gave us the ability to instruct the team on how to address knowledge gaps on the team and supported a hiring strategy for the group in this area.

We partnered with the Head of Digital and Head of Change & Transformation at Price Forbes to build a market leading digital general aviation facility, which quotes and bind risks with leading Lloyds syndicates in minutes. The development of the proprietary EDGE platform improved speed of service and placement for clients, offering delivery of quote in real time.
This was a multi-year greenfield project which required a team build from scratch. We stood up a Scrum team within 6 weeks and managed a phase transition from interim to FTE resources over the duration of the programme.
Upon conducting a review of their current business systems, we produced a detailed problem statement. The output of that review reported on such findings: a design of the optimum IT architecture (to satisfy the problem statement), and an associated roadmap of change to deliver the architecture included in the design, all to ultimately support strategic goals of the organisation. This led on to supporting the wider technology department with a Scrum team and delivering tooling on a new microservices based architecture.
